This fine publication features Yates poems illustrated by artist Basil Blackshaw (16 illustrations) and published by the Tom Caldwell Gallery, Belfast, N Ireland, 2005. Hardcover first edition was limited to a run of 395 copies. This limited edition features three extra images and Yates long poem Mourne Mantra. Condition is good. 1st Edition. Cloth over boards. Commissioned by Chris Caldwell of the Tom Caldwell Gallery, Belfast in 2005 with the participation of artistes Basil Blackshaw, Colin Davidson, David Dubois and Jack Pakenham in response to Paul Yates's magnum opus, a large body of poems portraying his personal vision of the Kingdom of Mourne in Northern Ireland. The hardback edition was designed by fellow artist Colin Davidson and is supplied in a matching slipcase. The book and slipcase are in good condition with the book not appearing to have been opened apart from photographing the contents. There are a few scratches and small marks on the case.
